Im making a story. Need Opinons.?
The lake glistened under the midmorning sun. The sand felt warm and soothing under her feet. The sun burned her skin as if she was in a life-size oven. The waves crashed againest her toes like miniature earthquakes. The water felt cold and she could swear that there was a chunk of ice in the water. As she soaked her feet in the ice cold lake water she looked up at the clouds and bega to cry. Cry because what he had done to her, cry because of the harsh memories, cry because she felt misunderstood and unloved and cried because her heart was broken. It sometimes felt to her as if she was trapped on an emotional rollercoaster that would never let her go. As the heat attacked her body mercicously she decided to make her way up the sandy hill. As she headed up the hill she broke down and a sharp rock attacked her knee. She began to cry as she could feel her body shake and her knee began to pulsate. She didnt cry because of the gash in her knee, she cried because she was dying inside. Life was to stressful and overbearing. She just couldnt take it anymore...
The next morning she woke up to the sweet smell of her mother's chocolate and rasin pancakes. It woke her up nicely but as she got up she tripped over a shirt that she was to lazy to put away she cussed lightly and died a little more inside. As she made her way over to the table she wasnt surprised to see everyone at the table already munching on mom's specially made pancakes. She was lucky if she ever got a crumb of one. Luckily her mother had saved two small ones and some small sausages." coffee tables with storage Goodmorning Honey!" her mothersaid mother said in that sweet as honey tone of voice while she flopped around in one of those spring dresses that made her look like a fruity martini." Ehh" she groaned as she headed over to the refridgeorator to grab their last gallon of milk"Here Honey." her mother said as she plopped down the food in front of her almost making the food fly into the air."Mhmm" she answered back as she started slowly nibbling on the pancakes her mother had set in front of her.
She started to get tired as Kate drolled on about this amazing purse that had kittens on it that she had saw last time her, her sister and her sister's best friend Amanda took her to the mall. She sighed and disposed of her not even half eaten pancakes into the waste bucket." Is there something wrong, Emily?"her mother asked while trying to make some coffee for herself and Robert"Here Honey." she called, her eyes twinkling as she handed Robert a burning hot cup of morning coffee."Mhmm." Robert mumbled from behind the sports section of his favorite newspaper. " You know baseball is the most played and liked sport""Mhmm" her mother called back " Emily why doesnt your father every listen to me?"
Emily shrugged and tried to head her way upstairs. " Im not sure Lily." she called from half way up the stairs. She had a habit of calling her parents by their first names.
Up in her roomshe store apart all of her clothing storage bins for her favorite pair of ripped black skinny jeans."MOM!" she screamed so loudly it almost shook the entire house."What!" her mother answered back."Why cant I find my favorite pair of black skinny jeans?!""Honey check the laundry basket downstairs!"
Emily sighed and headed down to the laundry room. She headed down the creaky wooden stairs to find her black skinny jeans in one of her mothers millions of laundry baskets. She searched and searched until finally she got so upset she threw a pair of jeans across to the back wall. A clank noise resumed after the jeans hit the wall. Emily quickly ran over to see what had caused the clank noise. To her surprise she discovered a locket not far from where she had thrown the jeans. It was a long silver chain with a large sized silver heart in the middle. It had a crack in the middle as if to look like a broken heart but she assumed it ad cracked from the fall."Cool!"
She headed up the stairs with the locket in her hands." I found them." Lily stated as she slapped the jeans into her hands." Good now after i get changed can i please leave?!""Fine" her mother answered as she took away the breakfast dishes only to end up spiling syrup and pancake crumbs half way across the floor.
Emily had left moments before her mother had sworn so loud that a bird flew out of a nearby tree. She quickly ran across the street so she could ignore her mothers screaming plee for her father to get off his butt to go into the closet so he could get a mop.
As she headed down the sidewalk walking to the nearest park so she could get a second from her screaming mother, lazy father and constantly talking sister.
She sighed and went to swing on the horribly painted swings. One swing stood out to her thou
